Absolutely! Tammy has had over 500 students to date, many of them complete beginners. The video tutorial is a step by step guide on how to mix paint and create a fluid art piece with ease. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, our tutorials will inspire and support you on your Fluid Art journey.

In every box you will find two canvases or painting surfaces (sometimes we surprise you!), the paint supplies for the project, and printed instruction sheet with a link to the video tutorial.

If a technique requires a special tool or gadget – that will be there too! We feature a variety of color palettes but you are welcome to substitute your own paint if you would like a different palette. There are also seasonal changes to the palette which will allow you to change out the art in your home to match the current season.

Great question – these items are helpful to have on hand:

1. US Floetrol - Lowe's, Home Depot, Amazon - A liter is plenty but a gallon is more economical.
2. Digital kitchen scale (not required but helpful when mixing paint)
3. Gloves
4. Cups
5. Stir sticks
6. Cups or thumb tacks to elevate canvas
7. Water
8. An area to paint in

The Getting Started box is the very first box everyone receives when they subscribe. This box is designed to give you a more in-depth explanation of setting up your painting space, mixing paint, and answering a lot of beginner questions that we have found helps set you up for success with box 2, 3, etc.

The Getting Started box also contains extra supplies that are not provided in other boxes such as a mat for your table, reusable stir sticks, cups specifically chosen to help you with measuring and mixing paint, and an easy beginner technique that starts you off with a palette and style that is going to be a success! Our experience with hundreds of beginner students has been rolled into this Getting Started class and box. Many of the items can be cleaned and reused!

We order product months in advance and it is difficult to predict quantities unless we close our club periodically. We are a family-owned small business and our commitment is to give you everything you need along with a video tutorial every month that is a quality piece of art.

This takes time and manpower to achieve success. We open our wait list when we are ready to grow the membership and can provide excellent customer service to our existing members. We also really enjoy getting to know our members on an individual level so that we can provide attention and love to each and every one!

You will have extra paint in most boxes – start building up your paint supplies with the sub box paints. We also offer affiliate links on the affiliate page to additional products and supplies.
